A free, open to the public opportunity for readers who can’t seem to find time to just sit and read. It’s a book club minus the assigned reading, minus the literary peacocking, minus the interpersonal drama. Come sit in one of our chairs, and focus on whatever book you choose — either Bring Your Own Book or pluck one off our shelves! This program is free and open to the public.

Come let your imagination do what it will: create your own fantasy garden at the Institute Library. Artists Maxim Schmidt and Kristin Cassidy will supply you with materials to plant your own mental garden with paper and whatever bits and bobs you are inspired to bring with you. Founded in 1945, Vox Records brought American listeners performers and conductors better known in their native Austria and Germany (Horenstein, Brendel — famous interpreters of Beethoven’s works).
