Senator Looney Reception

Thanks to the support of Senator Martin Looney, the Institute Library received $1.725M in bond funding. These funds are earmarked for much needed repairs and improvements to our historic 1879 building. We celebrated Senator Looney’s efforts on our behalf with a reception.  Celebrants were invited to wear hats as a symbolic acknowledgement of the roof to come! Brian Slattery and his band, The Late Fees, (Norman Plankey and Christina Crowder) played tunes while everyone enjoyed beverages and munchies.
