It is the blooming in the desert\, a garden of delights in a cement city. Scarce and special\, they offer tranquility and refreshment. \nAnd of course\, libraries themselves are oases…. \nThis exhibit features original artwork alongside items from the Library’s collection. There will be free events scheduled for making\, gathering\, sharing\, and basking in the peaceful glow of this Oasis.

This bestselling author and Yale grad\, for whom the Westville Library branch is named\, was a true Renaissance man and scholar\, living on his 200 acre farm\, “Edgewood\,” from 1855 until his death in 1906.
