DESCRIPTION:The Institute Library invites you to witness and celebrate the brilliant scholarship of the Social Justice Reader inaugural cohort of 2022! This year\, we had the opportunity to host seven New Haven high schoolers in a paid mentorship and research based fellowship program. Each Reader was encouraged to pursue an area of study related to race or social justice.\nWe are pleased and immensely proud to announce that the following  SJR Readers will be presenting their individual research projects on Tuesday\, June 14th from 5-7pm at the Institute Library.\nAmirah Harris\nSayniel Sawmadal\nAkida Ouro-Adei\nTristan Ward\nElsa Houlahan\nJonas Ward\nMyla Geberette\nWe hope you will join us in honoring the hard work of our local mentors and the Readers who have spent the last six months in collaboration\, building community and wealth of knowledge. Light fare and refreshments will be provided.
