WRITERS CIRCLE

Writers Circle is a series program co-sponsored with the Arts Council of Greater New Haven and takes shape as a roving group of writers who gather monthly for a sequential events with guest readers. 

In Conversation (3rd Wednesday in April & September)

Lunch & Learn (4th Thursday in May & October)

Write-In (2nd Saturday in June & November)

Open Mic (in December)

Writers Hours Fridays 4-6pm (weekly)

LISTEN HERE

Third Tuesdays Monthly at 7pm

Classical short stories read by local actors. Stories selected by the editors of the New Haven Review, read by actors from the New Haven Theater Company. Talk back follows. Cookies freshly baked!

STORYSHARING

Third Thursdays Monthly at 6pm

Share stories in an informal atmosphere or simply listen. Stories may be of any kind – traditional folk tales, myths, stories of personal experience, etc. Open to all levels.

POETRY INSTITUTE

Third Thursdays Monthly at 6:30pm

Celebrate an eclectic mix of poetic voices in a casual setting. Open mic with outstanding featured readers. Doors open at 6:30pm. Reading starts at 7pm. Arrive a few minutes early to sign up.
