LGBTQ* Youth Kickback

Mondays 3-6pm. Unite, make friends, and connect with mentors! Open to trans*, lesbian, gay, pan, bi, asexual, Two Spirit, queer, questioning, gendernonconforming, genderqueer, intersex youth & advocates.

Third Tuesdays 7pm-9pm. Classic short stories selected by the editors of the New Haven Review and read by actors from the New Haven Theater Company. Talk-back (Q&A and discussion) follows. Cookies freshly baked!

POETRY INSTITUTE

Third Thursdays 6:30-9pm. Celebrate an eclectic mix of poetic voices in a casual setting. Open mic with outstanding featured readers. Reading starts at 7pm. Arrive early to sign up. 2nd floor in the back space.

STORYSHARING

Third Thursdays 6-8pm. Share stories in an informal atmosphere or simply listen. Stories may be of any kind – traditional folk tales, myths, stories of personal experience, etc. Open to all levels. 2nd floor in the front space.

THE GALLERY UPSTAIRS Contemporary visual art and programs focused on language, literature and collections. 🎨 Evidence, work by regional artists, opens Sat. May 27th 4-6pm & is on view through Sept. 2nd.
